Stretch Marks TECHNOLOGY
Toronto Stretch Marks is the only technology proven to reduce moderate to severe acne scars for all skin types. The Sublative™ RF applicator is designed to deliver radio frequency energy to the skin in a fractional manner, via an array of multi-electrode pins. The array delivers bipolar RF energy to the skin. Microscopic zones of epidermis and dermis are thermally ablated in a grid over the skin surface, where non-ablated zones serve as a reservoir of cells that promote rapid healing.
The Sublative RF treatment has been shown to be an effective and very safe procedure for all skin types with minimal side effects, discomfort or downtime. Sublative technology is neither laser nor light based. Instead, this one-of-a-kind technology uses fractionated bi-polar radiofrequency directed to the skin in the form of a matrix.
What is Micro Needling?
Automated Micro-needling at Beauty Bar Medical Clinic, by Eclipse Micropen, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT),works in theory, much the same way as fraxel laser. Areas of treatment include: fine lines, acne scars, traumatic scars, stretch marks, large pores, dark under eye circles, crows feet, wrinkles, hyper and hypo pigmentation. This procedure may be performed anywhere on the body.
How does it work?
Like the fraxel laser, the Eclipse Micropen’s sterile needle-tip containing 12 tiny micro-needles creates channels or controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thickening of the derm. Wrinkles appear softer, scars, less obvious, pores tighter. These micro-channels fasciltate the absorption of topical gels, creams, and serums used during the treatment, enhancing their effects on the deeper layers of tissue. It’s advantages over fraxyl are that topicals applied to the skin during the procedure enhance treatment, the chance of thermal burn is eliminated, and the recovery and downtime is minimal when compared to fraxel.**
Is it painful?
The feeling associated with microneedling is similar to microdermabrasion. Some areas are more sensitive than others. The speed of the reciprocating needle tip makes the treatment comfortable. Sometimes, depending on the depth of the needling and the condition being treated, topical numbing agents may be used.**
What is the down time?
Immediately after the treatment you will notice a pinkness to the skin, similar to a sunburn. The total healing time depends on the condition being treated and the depth or the procedure. Adhering strictly to post care instructions will speed up the healing process.**
When will I see results?
There is an immediate glow to the skin. Visible changes will develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve for up to 6 months as collagen production continues.**
How many treatments will I need?
Most clients will need a series of 2-3 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. Depending on severity of condition, others may require 6-8 treatments to achieve their desired result.**
**Individual results may vary.
